Flashcards from your own notes — nothing your notes didn't say
Turn your own class notes into flashcards and a self-quiz — cards only from facts your notes clearly support, with the gaps and contradictions listed. Generated flashcards have a quiet failure mode: the AI smooths over the messy line in your notes, states something cleaner than what your teacher said, and you revise a fact that was never in the lesson. Source-locked cards run the other way — the notes are the only source, and their limits are printed on the output.
The cards themselves
From the revision skill, a real card set. Each card carries its cue — the exact note phrase it was built from:
Source scope: Four clear assertions from supplied notes; not independently verified. Ambiguities to verify: None internal. Cards: 1 Q: At standard atmospheric pressure, when does water freeze? A: 0°C. Cue: 'freezes at 0°C'. 2 Q: What state is ice? A: Solid water. Cue: 'Ice is solid water'. 3 Q: What change is evaporation? A: Liquid to gas. Cue: 'liquid water becoming gas'. 4 Q: What change is condensation? A: Gas to liquid. Cue: 'gas becoming liquid'. Quiz: (1) Define condensation. (2) State the condition attached to the freezing point. (3) What happens in evaporation? (4) What is ice? Stop here before checking answers.
Sample data above is fictional, shown so you can judge the output before buying.
Scope first, contradictions out
The output opens with its source scope — how many clear assertions the notes actually contained — and anything ambiguous goes to a verify list instead of into a card. Two note lines that contradict each other are both excluded from assessed material: revising a contradiction as if it were a fact is worse than revising one fact fewer.
The quiz stops before the answers
The self-quiz is generated from the same locked cards — including the condition attached to the freezing point, not just the number — and it stops before the answers are shown, so the check stays a check. The skill does not verify your notes against a textbook; it tells you plainly where the notes themselves are not enough, which is the part worth knowing before the exam, not after.
